notes about creative play

I have not posted in a while. Maintaining a creative rhythm seems a bit challenging now. I think it has to do with the season and the economic climate. It is a good time to explore and play. I have been taking my camera and the dog on long walks, practicing lots of yoga and thinking more about the creative process.

A few thoughts:

   Sometimes you have be still and listen-creativity comes; it can't be forced, only nurtured and respected

   Sometimes  creative ideas hide in the cracks and are waiting to jump out at you

   Sometimes ideas are right at your feet... so step lightly

   And sometimes they require that you gaze in a new direction.

a day at the beach (before Irene)

I had a perfect Cape Cod beach day with 2 of my wonderful friends last Friday. Hard to believe that Irene was just around the corner.
